Ao Nang is Krabi's vibrant tourist centre. It has the relaxed atmosphere of a small town, the beauty of a beach resort and the modern comforts of home. Ao Nang is mostly made up of 4 and 5 star resorts but there are also a few smaller more budget places available.
Railay Beach is actually a small peninsula which makes up four beaches. Railay which was once unknown and hidden away towering limestone cliffs is now one of Thailand's most sought-after beach areas. Located next to Ao Nang Beach, Railay is easily accessible by boat (no roads) from Ao Nang, Krabi Town, Lanta and Phi Phi. Railay presents a tranquil and extraordinary destination, so far away and cut off from the outside world.
This uninhabited island (also known as Poda Island), located about 5 km. from the Phra Nang Beach (Ao Phra nang). Koh Poda has a coastline of about 3 km. Poda Island is covered with rocks, but at the same time there is a beautiful beach with white sand and crystal-clear water, and in the immediate vicinity is a shallow coral reef, through which the travelers have a great opportunity to do scuba diving or just snorkeling and watch the spectacular underwater world.
Koh Hong, also known as Hong Island or Koh Lao Bileh, Belonging to the National Marine Park, the four superb islands of the Koh Hong group can be reached within twenty minutes from Ao Nang by speedboat, or 45 mins by longtail. Set against the spectacular backdrop of Phang Nga Bay, with its countless rocky outcrops, the islands are rightly considered to be among the most beautiful in Krabi province.
