| The mangroves here on Lanta are almost as big as the island. A leisurely day of kayaking is well worth the trip, where you will see monkeys, monitor lizards and many pretty birds. It is quite relaxing to float in this silent world and the water is lake-like even in rough conditions. You can also catch dinner if you are so inclined – mostly red and white snapper.
